Keith Mardell - Sunday 28th August 2011

Woodstock, Monterey, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight and .........................Weeley.

This August Bank Holiday weekend, it will be 40 years since the sleepy village of Weeley was invaded by 150,000 music fans to attend a Music Festival which ran non stop from midnight on Friday to midnight on Sunday.

It was 1971 and The cream of British rock bands attended, including the Faces, T Rex, Lindisfarne, Mott the Hoople, Status Quo, King Crimson, Rory Gallagher etc etc.

This Sunday 28/08/11 on my Show (10pm) I will feature an hour of music that was played at Weeley, with some info on what went on.

I hope you can join me.
