Steve Garlick

Steve Garlick presents the afternoon show, weekdays 1300-1700.

As a child actor in the late 60s and 70s, Steve has spent most of his life in the entertainment industry. Early roles in 'The Adventures Of Black Beauty', 'Doctor Who' and 'Carry On Doctor' made way for meatier parts in 'Minder' and 'Lovejoy' once he was in to adulthood.

By the 80s Steve was combining a career in stage & screen with radio. Work with Radio West, Plymouth Sound, Thames FM as well as BBC 7 showed he was a much in-demand voice behind the microphone. Steve first joined Big L in 1998 when the station was granted a 28-day license to broadcast from London's St. Katharine Dock; he returned for its new incarnation in July 2005.
