Ellie has been interested in sixties pirate radio since an early age, and became a fan of Big L during the RSL in summer 1997 when she was just 9 years old! She remained a fan of Big L and supported the station throughout RSLs and since Big L made an official comeback in 2005. It was at the Big L Meet the DJs day at Rollerworld Colchester in 2010 that she met Simon Davis, and the pair eventually teamed up to make the Simon and Ellie duo that can be heard on Big L on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 8.00 am - 10.00 am and Sunday afternoons between 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm.
